Relative

velocity: is what you notice when you see a jet plane speeding in the opposite direction, couple of miles below your aeroplane window, over the crystal waters between Bali and Singapore, with a gorgeous sunset in the distance.

Surreal!

Breakthrough

One of those days when things fall into place nicely.

A great review session, which left me feeling that I now know how this game is played.
A perfect Valentine's Day dinner at Buona Terra.
Little Roshan with the broadest of those smiles.
And, at the stroke of midnight, the note that our PO entry had made it through.

I have arrived. When do I depart again?

Two Zero One Four

The best time to do something is now.

In the water, once a week.
Heavy lifting, once a week.
Two wheels, twice a month.
A look inside, every day.
No in-bound, within 4 hours of shutdown.
Potato discipline.
Mid-season 73, end-of-season 70.

Less than two hours of homework.
A book every fortnight.
A green post every month.
Shutter-time every quarter.
Less than 5%, at less than 5%.

Sustained sustainability.
Yellow team Asia.
Desi Tel.

My EM.
Her INSEAD.
Our Fonty.
A plan by September.
New soil, hopefully.

New ideas. Pleasant surprises.

Here we go!

Parenthood

Studies show that having children takes something out of the quality of married life.

Which is why evolution, in its infinite wisdom, gave emotions to this most rational of beings.

Like every parent before me and every one to follow, let me admit that there is just no word to describe the feeling of seeing your son make his first appearance into this perfectly reasonable world.

Welcome home Roshan!
